"Why make things difficult when you can do them together?" This quote sharply illustrates that it is easier when you tackle problems together. That this is not just a nice thought, but also based on science, is evident from a study conducted years ago. A group of students was challenged to devise a solution for a problem about which they had little knowledge. The same was asked of several experts. After some time, it became clear that the shared creativity, inventiveness, and basic knowledge of the students produced more and better solutions than those of the experts. The power of a team was thus proven once again. Or, more precisely, the power of collaboration!

When we launched our Wiltec program #Samen Sterk more than a year ago, we did so also from the conviction that 'the power of together' is greater than that of each of us individually. It is therefore particularly pleasing to see that # Samen Sterk has already brought a great deal of positivity and improvement to our company. Thanks to interim evaluations, we hear that communication between colleagues and departments is better. We see that more understanding for each other leads to far fewer irritations, and we see that our focus on higher customer satisfaction is being realized by more colleagues. That certainly deserves a compliment.

In this new WIJ magazine, we pay attention to a number of topics and themes that are all related to our # Samen Sterk program. In addition, we take an extensive look at the other two key points of this year: ‘volledige klantfocus’(complete customer focus) and 'ijzersterk bedrijf’(iron-strong company). And, as always, there are, many different colleagues speaking.
